Bernardo Outerwear Long Down Coat

When my little brother was moving up to Utah to go to school he asked me if I would help him go shopping for some new warm clothes. Can you guess what the number one thing I told him he had to have was? Duh! A really warm coat. His response was well I have a leather jacket and a windbreaker. Haha, oh kid…that’s not going to cut it when it’s negative 7 degrees.

Bernardo Outerwear is one of my most favorite winter wear brands! Their down coats are the best thing that has ever happened to me during the winter! I love this long, olive green coat that they sent me because it keeps my whole body warm! It’s pretty awesome when you find something that keeps you warm and is pretty freaking cute at the same time.

Adopt a Pet for the Holidays with the Humane Society

Meet Thumper! He is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees waiting for a home at the Humane Society of Utah! He is already house trained, good with other dogs, kids, and cats, and such a sweetheart!

This big guy caught my eye because he is gorgeous, but he was also so quiet and sweet. If I could have taken him home that day I would have! Thankfully, the Humane Society of Utah is a no-kill shelter, but I was devastated to leave him there!

If you are thinking of getting a pet this holiday season please consider checking out your local shelter first! There are so many beautiful animals there that need homes! They are treated incredibly well here! It’s warm, safe, and they get walks everyday! But how much happier do you think they would be if we could give them permanent, real homes!?

Now let me introduce you to a few of the others!

This is Rex! He is a 5 year old Alaskan Malamute. He’s house trained, and good with dogs, cats, and children.
